Maslulim's Achievement and Learning Centers: Empowering Children, Building Resilience
Maslulim's centers empower children from disadvantaged backgrounds by addressing educational, social, and life skills gaps. Through personalized tutoring (one-on-one and small group), close collaboration with schools and families, and a focus on building personal resilience, we equip children with the tools they need to succeed.
The ongoing conflict has significantly impacted vulnerable children. Recognizing their heightened needs, Maslulim is adapting its programs to provide enhanced emotional support. This includes trauma-informed care, resilience-building workshops (self-efficacy, meditation), and a focus on addressing the unique challenges faced by children living through this crisis.

“H., 13 years old, is in his third year at the Maslulim Achievement and Learning Center in Bat Yam. Initially placed in a special education class, H. transitioned to a regular classroom. However, he faced challenges with reading, writing, and Hebrew, as it is not spoken at home. With the support of his tutor, Chaya, H. has made significant progress. Chaya has helped him improve his language skills, expand his vocabulary, and excel in mathematics. Furthermore, she has fostered his confidence through social activities and peer collaboration."
"Despite facing scheduling challenges, H. consistently made an effort to attend the center and often stayed late to maximize his learning opportunities. At the end of the year, he proudly shared his achievements at the graduation ceremony alongside Chaya. H. graduated from 6th grade with honors and continues to thrive in a special project at our center."
